Sadhana Forest is a reforestation project and a sustainable living community. Every Friday we get together to watch a film with themes that relate to Sadhana Forest such as films about the environment, ecology, natural history etc. You are most welcome to join us on Friday, February 16th, to watch “Children Full of Life”, directed by Noboru Kaetsu. In this award-winning documentary, a fourth-grade class in a primary school in Kanazawa, northwest of Tokyo, learns lessons about compassion from their homeroom teacher, Toshiro Kanamori.

This movie is showcased in light of Sadhana Forest’s newly started UniverCity of Compassion (UCC) residential training program, and will be the first of a series of movies on compassion. For more information on the UCC, please email: india@sadhanaforest.org.

Before the movie, at exactly 16:30, you can join us for a full tour of Sadhana Forest and an update of our most recent work! After the film, you are welcome to join us for a free 100% vegan organic dinner!

In the award-winning documentary Children Full of Life, a fourth-grade class in a primary school in Kanazawa, northwest of Tokyo, learns lessons about compassion from their homeroom teacher, Toshiro Kanamori. He instructs each to write their true inner feelings in a letter, and read it aloud in front of the class. By sharing their lives, the children begin to realize the importance of caring for eachother.
