Earth and Bamboo Workshop at Auroville

The Earth and Bamboo Sustainable Architecture 5- day workshop is hosted by Auroville Green Practices (AGP), a wing of Auroville Consulting.

Earth and bamboo are two materials which have been used together for a wide range of traditional construction techniques. They are locally abundant, affordable and carry a low carbon footprint. They are known to be materials of the people. They can be used for both crude self-construction or engineered with high precision.
